who is the best wide receiver in the nfl 2022

I must say, there’s quite a lot of debate as to who the best wide receiver in the NFL 2022 shall be. Everyone and their sister seems to have their own opinion and have a favorite receiver they’d like to see in the top spot.

I myself have a few frontrunners in mind—players that have already shown to have a high level of skill, but also have the potential to only get better and develop over time. I’d say that the top wide receiver of 2022 will likely be a combination of their abilities, focus and determination.

One of my top picks for best wide receiver in the NFL 2022 is Houston’s D.J. Prindle. Prindle is an incredibly versatile player, someone who can do it all in the passing game. From working the middle of the field to stretching the sideline, it seems there’s nothing Prindle can’t do with a football in his hands.

But it’s not just his skill-set that’s impressive—his attendance record is something to behold. He doesn’t miss practice very often, if at all, and he always comes to games prepared and ready to go. He knows the playbook by heart and is always looking to improve his craft on the field.

Another player in the running is Philadelphia’s Artis Cross. Cross has all the physical tools to make an impact at receiver—quickness, speed and agility. He’s equally as dangerous in the air as he is after the catch. With his height advantage and wingspan, Cross is an absolute beast when it comes to creating separation and getting open for his quarterback.

But it’s his focus and attention to detail that really set Cross apart. He’s very meticulous in his approach and provides great insight into the playbook and running routes. He also has a knack for knowing where to be and when to be there.

My last nominee in the running for best wide receiver in the NFL 2022 is Pittsburgh’s Craig Renolds. Renolds is a big-play receiver who’s proved himself capable of making the most of his opportunities. He has better vision than most receivers I’ve seen in my life, often knowing exactly which route to take against a particular coverage.

But one thing Renolds does that really stands out to me is his work ethic. He puts in so much work in the offseason, always studying film and refining his route running. Weeks and weekends before the season start he can often be seen catching passes with teammates and honing his skills.

So there you have it, these three players are currently at the top of my list for best wide receiver in the NFL 2022. Each one brings something different to the table—skills, versatility, and focus—but it’s impossible to deny the talent each possesses and the obstacles they’re sure to overcome next season.
