When it comes to watching NFL games for free, I know one thing: finding an illegal stream can be a real hassle! I mean, trying to keep up with all the different sites that offer up the games in varying quality for free, or less than free, is exhausting. And I know how frustrating it can be when no one even responds to your messages when you’re trying to watch something online.
But that’s not to say that I haven’t had success. I can proudly say that I have watched a full season like this in the past. My first attempt wasn’t easy – I had to search through a lot of sketchy websites and message board threads, hoping to find a reliable group of viewers. But my persistence paid off and I eventually got lucky – I stumbled upon a great group of fans who had a reliable stream set up, and it worked fine through the whole season!
I’ve since learned a few hacks that make finding an illegal stream a lot easier. One thing I do is use Google to search for specific Reddit threads or other resources that seem to always have reliable streams. This isn’t fool-proof, but it seems to work more often than not. I also keep a list of different websites that occasionally offer up reliable streams, and I check back with them every week to see if they’re still live.
Another strategy I’ve started using is connecting with people on social media who are known to post illegal streams. Usually these people are fanatics – they’ll post a new stream every week, and almost always know the best places to watch the games. They might be a little brash, but if you can handle their attitude then they can definitely point you in the right direction.
Though I always make sure to stay one step ahead of the authorities, I definitely respect their efforts to stop the illegal streaming of NFL games. After all, without them, I’m not sure where I’d find a way to watch games without having to pay a subscription fee. So I guess it’s a kind of a trade-off – I get a free viewing experience at the cost of a bit of risk.
I know some people feel guilty about watching games illegally, and that’s totally understandable. I feel the same way sometimes. But I’ve figured out how to mitigate that guilt by pitching in a few extra bucks every month to one of the streaming services. I don’t do this as a way to technically become a paying subscriber, but I do it as a way to show my respect and gratitude to the streaming services that make it possible for me to watch games without subscribing.
For all the trouble you can potentially run into when finding an illegal stream, I still can’t get over how much money I save when I can get access to games. Overall, I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a way to watch NFL games without getting into trouble. Sure, there’s a risk, but I think that risk is worth the reward.
