what’s the record for bench press at the nfl combine

Boy oh boy, I recently learned that the record for bench press at the NFL combine is incredible! From what I have seen it’s sixty five reps of 225 lbs bench-pressing! Can you imagine that? 65 reps is crazy! And just to put that into perspective, the average amount of people that can do even one rep is only twelve percent of people.

I remember one time when I attempted to do 10 reps at the gym for fun, and it worked me to the bone. I was exhausted after only 5 of them! That means the NFL combine record holder went above and beyond what another average person from the population could do about sixfold!

It’s really remarkable to know that these athletes train their bodies to the limit just to get to this record breaking level. Even with the right amount of training and discipline, many aspiring athletes probably wouldn’t make it to the combine, let alone set a record. That takes some serious strength and perseverance!

Knowing the number of reps someone needs to set the bench-press record is cathartic in a way – you know that any athlete that does 65 reps is a pretty elite one. It’s an incredible accomplishment that these athletes are able to put their bodies to this level and make it look easy!

I’ll tell you what, I think any bench presser that has the drive to do the reps and beat the record is nothing short of admirable. On top of the physical strength, they’ll need the mental strength to push themselves to make it to the top and make history.

All this shows just how difficult it is to be a successful athlete and break records. It’s no wonder why they’re considered as some of the best athletes in the world – they had to earn it.

Now that I know the record for bench press at the NFL combine, it inspired me to think about what I could do to reach a similar goal. I’m not sure if I have enough strength to reach the combine record, but it’s inspired me to train harder and break my own personal record.
