boutte nfl draft

It’s that time of year again! The NFL Draft is approaching and my question is how will it impact the outlook of the season? Every year is interesting because people don’t always know what to expect. That’s why I’m so excited every year around this time.

I love watching the hype about who is going to be taken in the top spots and who is going to fall down further than expected. It’s like the lottery to me. Even though teams are trying to create the best rosters they can with their selections, you just never know how it’s going to work out. Who knows, the team that gets the top pick could make the best move of the draft and turn out to be the champion of the season.

It’s also such a great opportunity for players. This is a chance for players to make a name for themselves and prove themselves, no matter what team they went to or where they ended up. Seeing the prospects for each team, seeing the trade rumors, and then seeing the challenges for each team and coaches due to the new players it’s really exciting to watch it all come together.

Come draft day, I’m glued to my screen. Even if I’m not a fan of any particular team, I know my way around the draft process. It’s a great way to show my knowledge and pick the stars of the show. Even if there are no real surprises or shocking picks, it still brings some sort of excitement to the time of year.

The first round of the draft always feels like the longest round, because of all the anticipation and analysis involved in figuring out who goes where. You can feel the tension in the air while teams think about their draft picks, it’s like everyone is on the edge of their seats to see what happens. After the first round is over, things pick up pretty quickly and it’s a draft party from there!

The second and third rounds can be just as important to teams as the first round, depending on the team’s strategy. I like to see the players finish in the lower rounds because they may have fallen due to different factors. It’s so great to see them being picked up in the lower rounds and showing how much they’re worth.

The late fourth round through the seventh are interesting and more of a wild card. Teams often take risks and pick players with potential who may not have as much recognition. It’s these members of the team that can come in and be game changing later in the season. Seeing the trades that occur come draft day is always exciting, seeing teams flip the pick or throw in future picks just adds to the drama of it all.

I think the draft is one of the most important days in the NFL – not just for teams, but also for players. It’s a chance for teams to get better, and for players to make a name for themselves. This year’s draft should be pretty interesting and I’m sure it will bring plenty of surprises and unexpected decisions.
